Polyester
The most widely used synthetic fiber in the USA. Polyester fibers are often spun together with natural fibers, e.g., cotton, to produce a cloth with blended properties.
Viscose
Viscose is a type of rayon. It's a man-made fiber made from purified celluslose, which usually comes from specially processed wood pulp. Viscose is very similar to cotton and silk.
